IBN YAHIA, JACOB TARN

Portuguese scholar and physician, son ofDavid ben Solomon ibn Yahia. He served as a rabbi and as court physician in Constantinople. He was the author of numerous responsa and completedTehillah le-David, a study of the principles of Judaism begun by his father.
