Orme Caldara was born in Empire City, Oregon, and was acting in New York from 1903. His career peaked when he became Jane Cowl'sleading man, appearing with her inLilac Time(1917) andSmilin'Through(1919). His marriage toJulia Deanended in divorce. He was a central figure in theLambs' Club.
