GIGLIOLI, GIULIO

(1886–1956)

This art historian and topographer, based at the University of Rome, is best known for his studies of the Apollo of Veii, his Arte Etrusca (1935), and his editorship of the journal Archeologia Classica. He was a pupil of Rodolfo Lanciani and a teacher of Massimo Pallottino.
