Spanish talmudist. A student ofAaron ha-Levi of BarcelonaandSolomon ben Adret, he became a hakham and dayyan in Zaragoza. His talmudic commentaries contain summaries of the views of previous authorities. He also wrote a defence ofMaimonidesand a commentary on the Passover Haggadah.
