Spanish grammarian. A pupil ofDunash ben Labrat, he wrote a reply (consisting of 150 verses of introduction and a prose section) to the polemic directed againstDunashby the pupils ofMenahem ben Saruk. This was in response to a criticism levelled byDunashagainstSaruk.
