GENTILI, GERSHOM BEN MOSES

Italian rabbinic scholar, son ofMoses ben Gershom Gentili. He was the author ofYad Haruzim, a Hebrew rhyme lexicon; it contains an introduction, 12 rules for Hebrew usage in poetry, and an appendix containing a poetical formulation of the 613 commandments.
