PIGS

Pigs: translation

Opening 1 September 1924 at the Little Theatre, this comedy by Anne Morrison and Patterson McNutt ran an astonishing 347 performances. It found a continuing life withlittle theatregroups, presumably on the basis of its Midwestern setting and easy-to-cast roles for six men and four women. Junior's scheme to buy 250 sick pigs, cure them, and sell them at a profit leads to silly family complications before the plan succeeds.
