(b.1886). The playwright was born in Kenduskeag, Maine. She wrote many successful comedies in collaboration with Martha Stanley, includingNightie Night(1919),Scrambled Wives(1920),Puppy Love(1926), andThe Wasp's Nest(1929). WithAnne Nichols, she wroteHeart's Desire(1916) andNearly Married(1929).
