Montague Marsden Glass was born in Manchester, England, and was brought to America as a child. He published humorous magazine stories about New York City's garment district, and these became the basis for plays he wrote in collaboration with other dramatists:Potash and Perlmutter(1913) withCharles Klein,Business before Pleasure(1917) and several others in the 1920s with Jules Eckert Goodman.
