Adam and Eva: translation

The 1919 comedy byGuy BoltonandGeorge Middletonopened on 13 September 1919 and ran for 312 performances at New York's Longacre Theatre. A wealthy businessman employs manager Adam Smith to ride herd on his spendthrift family while he is away for three months. Adam concocts a ruse to force the family to try working for a living. Like the rest of the family, Eva develops character through work and finally realizes her feelings for Adam.
