MARGINAL POLJE

1.Flat plain surrounded by higher limestone country on all except one side which consists of impermeable ridges or hills. Such a feature is normally found on the edge of a karst area or region [20].
2.Flat limestone plain which is surrounded by higher country but is bordered on one side by impervious rock [10].
