XDIS

A symbol used specifically upon the consolidated tape to indicate a security trading ex-distribution.

Typically, a stock will depreciate in price immediately after its distribution is paid. For the purpose of the information accuracy, the consolidated tape will indicate this by adding the letters XDIS immediately after the stock symbol. For example, CTC.XDIS 20 would be Cory's Tequila Corporation (CTC) trading ex-distribution for $20.
