This is theTurkishtelevision channel broadcasting 24/7 in the KurdishKurmanji,Sorani, andDimili(Zaza) dialects since 1 January 2009. As such, it may be looked upon as a major Turkish reform in an attempt to help solve its long lasting Kurdish problem. Some Kurdishnationalists, however, have denounced the station as a mere sop to steal their thunder. TRT 6 is part of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation. The channel can be accessed in Turkey and Europe.
