Born in Belgium, he opened his own company in 1988 and was one of theAntwerp Six. In 1992-1996 he produced a line called W. & L. T., which is an acronym for Wild and Lethal Trash. His designs are often considered avant-garde and he was one of the first designers to incorporate the Internet and CD-ROMs in the marketing of his collection.
