SHIMADA, JUNKO

Japanese-born Shimada founded her clothing business in Japan in 1991. Known for avant-garde but wearable styling, she also sold well in Paris. The house has severallicensesfrom sunglasses, handbags, shoes, and home products. In 2001, French designers Alexandre Morgando and Matthieu Bureau were hired to design and revitalize the collection.
