Head began her career as an assistantcostume designerat Paramount Studios. Throughout her career she received thirty-five Academy Award nominations and won eight of them for her costumes. Gifted with the ability to accentuate the positive and conceal the negative, Head is credited with assisting several stars and films with their success.
