Malaysian-born Paul Chan started his fashion career after leaving a music career in Australia. After having graduated from theFashion Institute of Technology, he worked as adesignerat Searle before starting his own collection in 2001. In 2002, he received theFashion GroupInternational's Rising Star Award. Chan is best known for his prettyseparateswith great tailoring details. His clothes are also a hit with the Hollywood crowd.
