A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bartlett is a Harvard University graduate who attended theFashion Institute of Technologyin New York. His first position in the industry was withWilli Smith. Bartlett began hismenswearline in 1992 and was the recipient of theCouncil of Fashion Designers of America(CFDA) Menswear Designer of the Year Award in 1998.
