A trade union formed by the men's clothingmanufacturersin 1914. It merged with the Amalgamated Clothing and Textiles Workers Union (ACTWU) in 1976 and later merged with theInternational Ladies' Garment Workers' Union(ILGWU) in 1995 to form theUnion of Needletrades,Industrial and Textile Employees(UNITE).
