VACCHERECCIA

An Archaic settlement set on a tuff outcrop of about two hectares at 110 meters above sea level in the Capena region of southeast Etruria. The surrounding cemeteries of Monte Tufarello and Grotte Colonna suggest a range of occupation from the seventh century BC until the Hellenistic period.
