Founder and director of theSacred Trustand a member of the faculty of theFoundation for Shamanic Studies. According to the Sacred Trust website, Buxton “has worked and trained extensively within shamanic traditions for over fifteen years and his work as a shamanichealerhas been recognized and endorsed by both contemporary shamans and members of the medical community.” Buxton practices and teachescore shamanism, the “bee shamanism” outlined in his bookThe Shamanic Way ofthe Bee(2004), and has a shamanic practice in Penzance, Cornwall, England.
