Poet andhazan, first to publish adiwan(song collection) in 1587, which contained 108 of his own poems with the intention of attracting Jewish youth away from secular songs. His most famoushymn, printed on prayer books and sung the world over, is the AramaicYah{}Ribbon Alam("God of the World").
