Organist, composer, professor of harmony at theParisConservatoire (1943–1969), he is best known for hisRequiemOp. 9 (1947) which decoratesGregorian chantswith modernistmodalharmonies. He has also published a small number ofmotetsand themass"Cum Jubilo" (1966).
