Known mostly for secular songs, he composed about 18motetsand otherpolyphonicliturgical works. One of his twomassesuses the tuneL’homme arméas acantus firmus, perhaps the first of 40 such byGuillaume Du Fay, Josquin Desprez, and other leading composers of his generation.
