NEW ZIONIST ORGANIZATION

A worldwideZionistorganization created after members of the Union of ZionistRevisionistsvoted to secede from theWorld Zionist Organization. Its aims, articulated at its Constituent Congress in September 1935, included the creation of a Jewish majority on both sides of theJordan Riverand the establishment of a Jewish state inPalestine.
