Ahdut Haavoda: translation

AZionistsocialist association of Jewish workers inPalestine. It was established in 1919 by a majority of the members of thePoalei Zion(Workers ofZion) Party, along with some members ofHapoel Hatzair. Its ambition was to unite all Jewish workers inEretz Israeland all federations and parties in the Jewish Labor Movement and the Zionist Movement abroad. Ahdut Haavoda joined the World Alliance of Poalei Zion. It was active inaliya, immigrant absorption, and public works.
