Designer. Viebrock studied art history at the Art Academy of Düsseldorf and did not begin stage design work until the late 1980s withJossi Wielerin Basel. In 1991 she began working withChristoph Marthalerin Basel, and in 2001 she was named head designer at the Zurich Schauspielhaus. She held a similar position at theDeutsches SchauspielhausinHamburgfrom 1993 to 1999.
