STERNAUX, LUDWIG

(1885-1935)
Critic. Sternaux wrote reviews for theBerlinLokal-Anzeiger, often with a polished aptitude for perceiving more about the actor's work than did his contemporaries. He was particularly adept at describing an actor's performance. Sternaux dislikedBertoltBrecht's plays in the 1920s, though he did not attack him with the vituperation ofAlfred Kerrand others.
