PALYTOXIN

palytoxin: translation

Linear peptide (2670 D) from corals of Palythoa spp. that binds to Na+/K+ ATPase at a site overlapping that of ouabain and converts it into a channel. Extremely toxic and said to be the most potent animal-derived toxin.
