DAP12

Disulphide-linked homodimeric protein (12 kD) that interacts with KIR2DS2. Resembles g -chain of Fc e RI and z -chain of T-cell receptor. Cytoplasmic tail has an ITAM that will bind zap-70 and syk and thus activate the NK cell.
