Bacille Calmette-Guerin: translation

An attenuated mycobacterium derived from Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacterium is used in tuberculosis vaccination. Extracts of the bacterium have remarkable powers in stimulation of lymphocytes and leucocytes and are used in adjuvants.
