TEALBY COINS

Hoard of 12c coins found in the Lincolnshire village of Tealby. They were 90 per cent silver pennies, all bearing the name Henry II, and dating between 1158 and 1180. Such coins are named Tealby as those found in the village serve as exemplars. -
