ZONDEK, BERNHARD

(1891-1966)

Israeli gynaeco-logist. He worked in Berlin, and left Germany with the Nazis' rise to power. He became professor of gynaecology and obstetrics at th Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He was head of the hormone research laboratory at the Hebrew University.
