YAARI, AVRAHAM

(1899-1966)

Israeli scholar of Galician origin, brother ofYehudah Yaari. He settled in Palestine in 1920; after teaching at a school in Tel Aviv, he worked in the Hebrew National Library and Tel Aviv University Library. He published studies dealing with Hebrew bibliography and the history of Jewish settlement in Palestine.
