PATAI, JOSEPH

(1882-1953)

Hungarian poet and editor. He was born in Gydngyospata, and taught at a Budapest high school. He published a Hebrew verse collection, anthologies of Hungarian poetry, Hungarian versions of Hebrew poetry and memoirs. He was also the editor of a Zionist monthly. In 1938 he settled in Palestine.
