AHAD HAAM (GINSBERG, ASHER)

Ukrainian Hebrew essayist. Born in the Ukraine, he lived in Odessa and Tel Aviv. He advocated spiritual Zionism, which he believed would lead to the founding of a national spiritual centre. His writings include six volumes of collected essays.
