WITHDRAWAL HALLUCINATION

A term used to denote a hallucination which occurs in the context of withdrawal from a chemical substance such as alcohol, a drug, or therapeutic. Some common examples of withdrawal hallucinations are alcohol withdrawal hallucination, cocaine withdrawal hallucination, benzodi-azepine withdrawal hallucination, and Baclofen withdrawal hallucination.
