OTIC TINNITUS

Also known asperipheral tinnitus. Both terms are used to designate a type of "tinnitus (i.e. 'ringing in the ears') attributed to disorders of the inner ear and, in some definitions, to the acoustic nerve. The term otic tinnitus is used in opposition to the terms " somatic tinnitus and "central tinnitus.
