ACETYLCHOLIN

Acetylcholin: übersetzung

Acetylcholin,Acetylester des Cholins;⇒Transmitter; kommt bei Wirbeltieren in den motorischen Endplatten der quer gestreiften Skelettmuskulatur, in den prä- und postganglionären Fasern des Parasympathicus und in den präganglionären Fasern des Sympathicus, bei einigen Wirbellosen in den motorischen Endplatten vor. A. wird im gesamten Neuron synthetisiert, indem zunächst aktivierte Essigsäure (Acetyl- CoA) gebildet und dann die Acetylgruppe vom CoA auf das Cholin übertragen wird. Bei Erregung wird A. von der präsynaptischen Membran in den präsynaptischen Spalt abgegeben. Die A.-Moleküle binden an Rezeptormoleküle in der postsynaptischen Membran, die daraufhin ihre Ionenpermeabilität verändert. Nach wenigen ms wird A. unter Einwirkung von⇒Acetylcholinesterasein Cholin und Acetat gespalten. Cholin regt u.a. die Drüsentätigkeit an, verengt die Bronchien, senkt den Blutdruck und steigert die Verdauungstätigkeit. Verschiedene Substanzen können in die Erregungsübertragung durch A. eingreifen. Das indianische PfeilgiftCurareblockiert die A.rezeptoren an den motorischen Endplatten, was zum Tod durch Atemlähmung führen kann. Das GiftBotulindes BakteriumsClostridium botulinumführt zu Atemlähmung, indem es die A.ausschüttung verhindert.Atropin,das Gift der Tollkirsche, blockiert die A.rezepto-
ren in Synapsen von Eingeweiden, Herz und Augeniris. Auch in Pflanzen kommt A. in Spuren vor, z.B. in den Brennhaaren der Brennnessel. Neurone, Nervenfasern, Synapsen, die A. speichern und freisetzen, werden alscholinergbezeichnet.
