actress wife of director/actor Ramón Pereda, who appeared in most of his films during the 1930s and 1940s. Died suddenly while filmingRocambole(1946), requiring some last-minute revisions of the script. Pereda retired from filmmaking for several years after this, returning after he married María Antonieta Pons.
