attractive, spunky brunetteranchera-norteñasinger and actress, born in Sonora. She came to Mexico City from Tijuana in the early '70s; made more than a dozen films between 1977 and 1983, then disappeared from the screen for the rest of the decade, returning for several "videohomes" in the early '90s. She was formerly married to the (ex) lead singer of "Los Bukis," Marco Antonio Solís. Returned to performing in 1999 after an absence of a few years, but in 2000 she announced her retirement after the tragic death of her son.
