Ancient Egypt

TAKHAT

(fl. 1270 BC)
A royal princess and possible queen. She was the fourteenth daughter of Ramesses II. A later Queen Takhat is shown in possible association with either Sety II or Amenmesse. It has been assumed that she may be the same woman as the princess and the mother of Amenmesse and perhaps even the wife of Sethos II, although these conjectures are debatable.
