TAKELOT II

(reigned c. 850–825 BC)
Throne nameHedjkheperre setepenre. Epithet meryamun siese. Successor and probable son of Osorkon II. His reign is badly attested, but his attempt to install his son, Osorkon, as high priest of Amun in Karnak led to prolonged civil strife.
