RIBHADDA

(fl. 1350–1330 BC)
Ruler of Byblos. He was a frequent correspondent in the Amarna letters. He complained bitterly about the encroachments of Abdi-Ashirta and Aziru, kings of Amurru to his north, and demanded Egyptian assistance. He was eventually driven from Byblos and sought refuge in Beirut. His ultimate fate is unclear.
