Variant transcription of the name also transcribed as Neferefre. Personal name Isi. Fourth ruler of Dynasty 5. Son of Neferirkare and probably Khentkaues II. His reign was short, and his funerary complex at Abusir was left unfinished. It was examined and excavated by a Czech expedition from 1978–2002. Several fine pieces of sculpture were recovered, as well as more Abusir papyri.
