First declared ruler of Dynasty 11. Horus name Sehertawy. Son of Mentuhotep I. At first governor of Thebes, he appears to have revolted against Herakleopolis and adopted the title of king, although he did not adopt the full royal titulary. He was buried in a rock-cut tombon the west bank at Thebes.
