Ahigh official at the beginning of Dynasty 18, serving in the reigns of Amenhotep I, Thutmose I, Thutmose II, and Thutmose III with the title of overseer of the granary of Amun. Son of the judge Ineni and the lady Sit-Djehuty. He was in charge of building works at Karnak for the first two rulers and supervised the construction of the royal tombof Thutmose I in the Valley of the Kings. He was buried in a tomb (number 81) at Thebes, which contains a detailed biographical inscription.
